Child Care 2 yrs - 3 yrs

This child care room is for children ages 2-3 years old. Once your child has mastered their general motor skills in our infant program we will continue to work with them to enhance their skills. We also start more of a structured group learning environment in this program. We have daily story time, more advanced toys and games, and more free exploration of art materials, book reading, and science experiments. This is also where children will learn and apply social skills in interacting with both their teachers and peers.
Mixed age groups in child care allow children to be a part of diverse ages that can nurture their social and intellectual growth. Research has affirmed that young children can gain more emotional support and social learning from their older peers. The older children also get to practice their nurturing skills and develop vital leadership qualities early on, which promotes independent and proactive opportunities as they grow.
