About Us

Our program provides care for infants and children up to 10 years of age. We offer a preschool program for children ages 3-5 for both AM and PM sessions as well as a before and after-school program. 

Our center is staffed with a caring and qualified team. Currently, with our teaching staff members, we have over 70 combined years of experience in the child care field.

Story Book’s mission is to provide high-quality care to the children and families we serve. Our most recent yearly parent surveys show an overall satisfaction rate of 98%. Story Book Child Care originated as the highest rated, level 5, in-home program in the region of Boone and Story County from the Department of Human Services through Iowa’s Quality Rating Scale (QRS). Now, as a center, we are currently in the process of obtaining the same high-level quality rating.
