Joy Kent
My Story
Hello! My name is Joy Kent. I have really enjoyed working at Storybook since August of 2022! I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and have done parent education, in-home day care, and have worked in center-based care like Story Book. I also taught English Language Learners, which I also enjoyed.
My husband and I have 4 girls with quite a range of ages: 17 (a senior this year!), 10, 8, and 3. I like being in the outdoors-camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming etc. I also enjoy reading when I can find the time and love to explore museums, botanical gardens, zoos etc with my kiddos.
